The purpose of the foil is to protect the polystyrene boards against the penetration of moisture contained in the concrete mass when the screed is being laid. Additionally, the foil supports the polystyrene boards in order to properly anchor the mounting clips to the underfloor heating pipes.
- IZOTAR underfloor heating film is a laminate of polyethylene and metallised polypropylene film with a total thickness of 0.105 mm.
- The foil is printed on the top side in the form of alternating continuous and dotted lines (or dots) every 5 cm to allow precise and even distribution of the heating pipes. This makes installation faster and more accurate.
