The purpose of the foil is to protect foamed polystyrene boards against penetration of moisture contained in concrete mass when screed is being laid. In addition, the foil supports the polystyrene boards in order to properly anchor the installation clips to the underfloor heating pipes.
- IZOFOLIX underfloor heating foil is a laminate of polyethylene and metallised polypropylene foil with a total thickness of 0.105 mm.
- The top of the foil is printed with alternating continuous and dashed (or dotted) lines every 5 cm to allow precise and even distribution of the heating pipes. This makes installation faster and more accurate.
