Kotar polypropylene fabric is used to protect the polystyrene boards from moisture from the concrete screed and to assist the polystyrene boards in properly anchoring the Kotar underfloor heating pipe fixing clips.
The best effects of the fabric will be achieved when used together with Kotar polystyrene boards and Kotar pipe fixing clips.
- Kotar PP fabric is characterised by very high strength in relation to its weight. The construction of the fabric is based on a dense interweaving of high strength polypropylene ribbons, which makes the attachment of the clips much more stable than with foil.
- The fabric is coated which makes it an excellent insulation against moisture.
- The top of the fabric is printed with alternating continuous and dashed (or dotted) lines every 5 cm to allow precise and even distribution of the heating pipes. This makes installation faster and more accurate.
